Everyone loves bears and woodland animals, bears are part of most countries heritage.
Most people love bears as these marvellous creatures are so majestic and can look clumsy and adorable, bears are full of adventures, they are very easy to admire from afar and very difficult to forget.
That`s why bear’s are so enduring to people, from the much loved Winnie the pooh, Paddington bear, Baloo from the jungle book, Yogi Bear and who can`t forget Fozzie from the Muppets show.
Easy Woodland DIY Bear Mask
This hands-on activity is not only fun but also encourages creativity and craft skills.
This printable bear mask is great for pretend play or woodland animal party DIY costume.
So much fun for kids and super easy to make too, this mask is also very affordable and will save you money,
Let’s dive into the simple steps of making this adorable bear mask.
Materials Needed
Before we start, let’s gather all the necessary materials. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Bear masks printable template from
- Green Pixie Designs
- Card Stock (Thin) or Quality A4 Paper (Make sure its size can go through your printer)
- Scissors
- Elastic Cord or string
- Optional, You could add fake fur or embellishments to your Woodland Bear mask
Instructions
Once you’ve gathered all your materials, it’s time to start crafting.
- Download and print off the bear masks from the Green Pixie Designs Etsy page.
- Cut around the outside of the masks and very carefully cut out the eye holes.
- Make a small hole in the small white holes either side of the character’s face. This is where you’ll thread through the elastic cord or string.
- Measure the elastic or string to see how much you’ll need to fit around the mask wearer’s head. Remember to leave a few extra inches or centimeters.
- Thread the elastic or string through the small holes at one side of the mask and join up through the other side. Double-check it’s the correct size to fit the person’s head before tying off.
