Santa

Everyone’s favourite jolly man in red, Santa is a staple of the holiday season. To create Santa, we will break down the process into three parts.

First, we start with the head, which includes his signature hat and flowing white beard. Next, we move onto the body, where we focus on his red suit and black belt.

Lastly, we create Santa’s arms, making sure to include his white gloves.

Mrs Claus

The unsung hero of Christmas, Mrs Claus, is next on our list.

To create Mrs Claus, we start with her head, focusing on her gentle smile and glasses.

Next, we move onto her body, where we include her traditional red dress and white apron.

Lastly, we create Mrs Claus’ arms, complete with her baking mitts, ready to whip up some Christmas cookies.

Elf

The hardworking elves are an essential part of the Christmas narrative. To create an Elf, we begin with the head, focusing on the pointed ears and the elf hat.

Next, we move onto the body, dressing the elf in a tunic and leggings.

Lastly, we create the elf’s arms, making sure to include the cuffs of the tunic.

Snowman

A symbol of winter, the Snowman, is a fun and easy character to create.

We start with the head, focusing on the carrot nose and button eyes.

Next, we move onto the body, where we include the snowman’s scarf and buttons. Lastly, we create the snowman’s arms, using twigs to give that traditional touch.

Polar Bear

A native of the Arctic, the Polar Bear brings a touch of nature to our festive characters.

To create a Polar Bear, we start with the head, focusing on the bear’s snout and ears.

Next, we move onto the body, making sure to capture the bear’s sturdy, rounded shape. Lastly, we create the polar bear’s arms, giving attention to the bear’s powerful paws.

Penguin

Last but not least, the Penguin adds a touch of whimsy to our Christmas characters.

To create a Penguin, we start with the head, drawing the bird’s beak and eyes.

Next, we move onto the body, where we capture the penguin’s black and white colouring.

Lastly, we create the penguin’s flippers, perfect for navigating icy waters.

Now that you know how to create these festive characters, it’s time to get crafty!
